"Swoled" it AGAIN!

Here's my thread from a day ago on CompD but I figured I share here too...

New theory is that my modded VP rods finally gave way to the extra weight of my Mahle Monotherms...

Or the Crank broke first... Not sure yet..

http://www.competitiondiesel.com/for...d.php?t=119710

Went out testing the SSR for great all around settings the night before last.
I had found what seemed to be a great setup.
Spooled good, lower smoke, and had great power.
It didn't seem too for from others settings, as far as being too high.
Two nights ago it ran great. I did quiet a few wot runs.
It sounded good and cleaned up. I drove probably 50-60 miles like that.

Well last night I went out on the same settings.
I drove 40-50 miles of easy driving and testing lower POD settings just to see how little smoke I could make.
Right before I went to the house I did a roll-on in OD/Lockup.
I wasn't even to the floor yet and BOOM!!!

How I didn't crash I really don't know.
The truck was shaking horribly! It was actually still running, or trying to.
I had to leave it on to get over several lanes. I cut it off and costed the rest.

This is what I know so far. I'll start from the top down.

- Serp. Belt broken which too ou my fan wiring harness.
- Motor and trans is sitting at an angle now. Trans mainly.
- You can see a rod and Monotherm from the pass. Front fender well, but it's facing the wrong direction.
- Block is "SWOLED" Big Time on the rear pass. side.
- Blew out and ripped the oil pan.
- It looks to me like the rear of the Crank Shaft broke off abd thats what did the damage.
- It blew off the whole front of my tranny. I can see the flex plate and converter from under the hood!!
- The tranny is sitting crooked ( tilted to the side ) under the truck. Not sure why yet.
- Oil is EVERYWHERE!

It Is Edit up folks!!!!!

Here come the pics...

Kyle (Jeff's employee) was able to pull these out of the motor / block from just sitting in the parking lot.

you got a shelf to put that on? it won't fit on the wall of shame. wow, I can't imagine the vibration and the noise that was taking place.

Just glad you are ok and nobody got hurt in the process of getting off the road.
