So the story is I sold my old truck (01 HO in my sig to a buddy) and he ended up smoking the stock turbo.

Now he keeps having problems with the truck and wants to get rid of it. Feel kinda bad I sold it to him, but I never had any problems with it.

Anyways he has aftermarket (ATS I believe) exhaust manifold and Industrial Injection 62/14 turbo on it. Since he wants to get rid of the truck, I was thinkin it might be worth swapping turbos and manifolds since mods are not worth anything as you all know.

What is involved in the exhaust work and air intake work to swap these? I've seen the 2nd manifold/turbo on 3rd gen, but not the other way around.

What should I offer him to trade this stuff? Turbo and manifold have maybe a couple thousand miles on them. I was thinkin around $800-1200 but not sure.

Any help from someone that has done this would be appreciated.

do you or he have the original manifold off the '01?
I would put it back on with your turbo.
I don't know if a 3rd gen manifold would work on a 2nd gen.
