Superdissapointed with Superlift and Truspeed.

It's been several months that I have been in conversation with Superlift about getting the Truspeed to work on my truck:

Thread Here

I found a wiring diagram on the Dodge site and found 2 likely wires on the truck. Today, I tried all possible connection possibilities and have not been successful.

Words cannot describe how putoff I am with the Tech at Superlift that is handling my case.

Somebody please tell me that they have had their 2006 speedo recalibrated at the dealer. I want my money back for this thing and I am done with Superlift.

Sorry to hear your attempt to recal. the speedo didn't work. Get a GPS for $99. It will tell you exact speed unless your in a tunnel, regardless of tire wear or size. Think of it this way....your warranty will last longer with the bigger tires. I wouldn't be too upset with Superlift...Dodge makes these ECM's and sensors so that others can't frig them up. Get your coin back and at least everyone else will know they don't work on an 06, Thanks.ks

You should of researched the product. The SEARCH feature on PBB's are priceless.

Sorry to sound like a jackass but that's what I do. I've heard nothing but bad things about there truspeed. You could always take it to the dealer for a few bucks or adjust your spedo needle.

Sorry about your bumm purchase, Ive done it before and have learned my lesson.

Sounds like he did his reserach to me, said it's been a couple of months and he was giving us all an update??

Also remember that a lot of people on here give there opinion instead of an answer. he asked if anybody has gotten it to work. Most people just say it's junk, well why is it junk? Just because that person could get it to work, or it really is junk.

I had a Jet accuspeed (believe that's right) On my old 98 dodge. That thing worked great, was really nice, and there wasn't that many wires. Worked good for me. Not sure if they have one for the newer trucks but hey. I second the GPS too. There not that expensive and they will even help with directions = )

Before you jump to conclusions...SEARCH.

I've had a Truspeed on my Wrangler and have several Wrangler-owning friends using them. Works great. The RESEARCH I did took several months of waiting. DO NOT presume to accuse me of not researching. You do not know me. My vendor called Superlift for me and he was told it would work on the '06.

Do me a favor pal, search on my screen name to see if I do my research. In fact, I bumped a post from another member from a few months back yesterday to see if we could get an update.

Have a nice day.

I was hoping you would get it to work. Oh well.

I've been running a GPS in mine for about 6 weeks now and I'm really liking it.

Maybe someday, someone will crack this speedo recalibration problem.

Is there a reason you just did not just reprogram the ECM for larger tires? Mine works great on 37's and did not cost a dime.

Because 06's are different and cant be reprogrammed passed like a 33" tire, if that.

Go to the "Other" category...and change the pinion factor/ REVS PER MILE.

That option is not available with the '06 trucks which need to be accessed with the StarScan tool.

Not like our trucks which can be reprogrammed with the DRBIII.

I wish it was that easy.

Update: Talked with Superlift again today and was told to try the green/tan wire on the ABS module. No dice .

That makes four wires and no workie.

I went through the same thing with Superlift. There tech people have no idea again on what to do. They probably do not even have an 06 truck in the shop try it. They told me to try different wire colors and set the ABS lights on. The lights reset, then a lot of good people on here said that a dealer can do it on an 05. The dealer did do a good job. Thanks again guys. Superlift can kiss ** ***!!!!!

According to a DC diesel tech on the "other" site, no. Not right now, anyway.
