Superchips Flashpaq
Superchips Flashpaq
Has any one tried this? I went to a local truck performance shop to see what they had and one of the sales guy's was trying to sell me the flashpaq. He said it was better than the Bullydog(I'm not sure about that one). It has three settings-Tow/haul=70hp & 150ftlbs, Performance=126hp & 200ftlbs, and extreme which is about to be updated to 250hp & 460ftlbs. This is what he told me so I'm not taking it as the truth yet. What do you guy's think?
i can't tell you much as, well, look at my sig.
but i can tell you this, my cousin got one for his 3rd gen. and i rode in it, and WOW, i was quite impressed with it, lots of power and is it quick now. but all i know is that he really likes it and no problems but it's only been about 3 months so.......

Tell me about it, he let me try it on the performance setting- no strings attached, and wow. I went from a 10mph roll and laid on it. I smoked the tires for like 30ft. He almost had me talked into it but I haven't herd much about them so I had him pull the program.
ya he did the same thing as you, just rolling then laid into it and it roasted them too.
well i'm sure that it's a great programmer, as you know already, be cautious and hopefully someone else on here has some info for ya.
let me know how ya come out!

I bought the flash paq for kicks about a week ago and it has made a huge difference on my 05.. You can start out in a roll and then nail it and it will spin.. i can be driving at say 50mph and nail it and i'll be at 100mph in NO TIME.. The truck got QUICK.. but now my truck smokes a bit
i hate somke.. It did make a difference on my MPG also..
The whole reason i got it was to change my tire size thats all..
I paid $450 for it and i think its a bang for the buck..
I will be changing it out tho, due to many many many more mods thats all..

J.T. i had the same situation about a week ago. im wanting to put a chip in and had sorta decided on the bullydog because of reviews on this site. anyway the guy at the local shop sells both bullydog and superchips flashpaq. He said he had tried out both and sold quite a few of both and was more impressed with the superchips. i wasn't sure at first but he took me for a ride in his 04 with the flashpaq and man would it get up and go
. but next week im going back and he agreed to let me test out both the triple dog and flashpaq in my truck and decide for myself. Ill let u know how it turns out but so far superchips seems to be a really nice product.

I think the flashpaq is one of the best NOT talked about programmers on the market. It uses very little pressure, like 1-2k at the most in lower rpms, and timing and duration. With my setup as you can see in my sig i put down 507 938 at dynomite and i'm averaging 21mpg hand calculated. I tried others but this one outdoes them, not too bad coming from Superchips huh. EGTS don't get above 1100.

Dang thats cool. can you stack it with anything else? do you run on performance or extreme?
I run on performance and I don't think you need to stack it. Imagine Extreme setting. Get a turbo and you'll gain even more. My first turbo was a Super B and I gained 46 horses Stock was 265 and after turbo 311. Now I have a 62-14 from HTT
superchips flashpack no brainer
30000 miles on my 06 mega auto 35s no problems, at all, plus it fixed my speedo for my tires. As an example of abuse my truck takes the other day i had to haul liquid fertilizer to our center pivot irrigators ( a little steroids for the corn) left the fertilizer dealers place over the river bluff in the hills 29680 LBS gross vehicle weight. This was my truck and a 1600 gallon bumper hitch trailer I had enough power to pull it easy and spin both my rear 35 inch bfg when ever i wanted below 35 mph. and if i screw up my truck i unprogram the programer and clear the codes and take it to my dealer
