i just got one and love it. i tried one on my 02 and wasn't the as good as an edge ez. My new 06 was a turd until i put the superchips on, i tried an tstcr but snapped my turbo so i went with something a little less agressive. Plus i have been getting great mileage with it too, and it fixed my speedo for my 35 inch tires

One really awesome feature is being able to upgrade through the internet. No more sending into Superchips, simply plug it in and download and your done.

If your looking for a downloader I would recommend the Bully Triple Dog over the Superchips FlashPaq. Here's a couple of obeservations between the two when comparing the current highest levels of each, Performance vs. Crazy Larry:

The FlashPaq's EGT's are approx. 200 to 300 degrees higher then the Bully Dog during WOT runs, while producing less power according to the Edit o' meter and the tires.

The Bully Dog smokes ALOT more if you hammer it below 1500 RPM's. Which could be considered a good feature when you want to smoke some .

The FlashPaq currently has a weird tach issue where the tach will stall around 2000RPM's then magically jump to 2500RPM's.

Loading and changing levels on the Bully Dog is a hell of a lot quicker then the FlashPaq, which can't do anything on the fly.

While I think the FlashPaq has potential it's currently an immature product with lack luster updates/support. The only feature it has over the Bully Dog is speedo recalibration.

I have the Superchips and love it. My big quad cab dually was like the previous poster said it was kind of a turd, but no more and the mileage went up about 2.0 mpg. if you can keep your foot out it.

i loved the performance of mine but i now have a lift pump going out at 6600 miles. i can't say that it is because of the superchips. and i can say though good luck with getting any information from them on what those internet updates are.

Agreed 100% on the Bullydog/Flashpaq comparison. Bullydog has a much better product in my opinion.

I put the superchip in the 06 Mega and it moves. I think the power is better than my old 05 Juice with attitude and that is supposed to be around 100HP. It definitely isn't as functional as the Edge as it takes forever to change programs and you have to stop, pull over, and turn the truck off. If they made an on the fly option with a monitor, it would be great. They are also coming out with the new Extreme program within a month or two which will really pump out the HP.

superchip

I love my supechip.I'm sure the triple dog is great too though.A friend here has exact same exhaust and stuff, except he has a short bed,and a juice with attitude. We haven't gotten together yet,but I am real curious.Mine dropped 1/4 times from 16.75 to 14.95 with the superchip ALONE.And I have done a bit of towing in "performance" mode with minimal problems. The EGT's get pretty warm on 1/4 mile blasts, but all the tech guys say 15 seconds ain't gonna fry it,I hope they are right.lol....Anyway,the superchip is a great product, and I haven't had any of the troubles yet with 5000 miles on the programmer.
