Super Singles

Anyone get a look at these yet. Makes me wish I had a duelly. I did a little math and figured you'd need 4.88 or 5.13 gears to get the engine back up to the same rpm as the 3.73's. (are 4.88's or 5.13's even available for the american axle 10.5 or 11.5?)

Oh if I only had the money. If anyone outhere has these on, throw some pictures up. (They might be hard to steer if you put them on the front, hehehe. I know they're just for the back)

On a little truck I think 19.5's make a lot more sense. Can get those with up to 5000# per tire load rating.

No, they are just high load tires as is. for a pick up, you don't need anything more than they can hold, unless you are putting more than 10,000 lbs on your rear axle. They might even come in more than load range H.

was wanting the supersingle because their wider than reg., and just run one on the back that's like 14" wide. We have a set of 22.5 SS on the rear of a spreader truck, no more rocks in the duals and it goes better than it did with duals

I am trying to have some custom 8-lug 22.5s made including a 14" rear wheel that I can put those super singles on. I will post pics when I am done.

What about running 22.5 on a stock lifted SRW? I like the idea of a tall but not too wide tire...
