I've got the MTX Thunderform box with 2 10" mtx and with 150 watts RMS to each polk audio 6x9 in the front doors, when watching dvds on the double DIN my truck sounds as good or better than a movie theatre. I it cost $125 loaded from a friend. I probably paid a little too much but it saved me a lot of hassle of building my own.

I kept my eyes open and bought some infinity subs off crutchfield, buy one get one free. Then and cut the bottom out of the sealed box and fiberglassed new bottoms to give myself more room and air space and have a 800 Watt amp tapped into the back of the stock head unit, but just lost my 6 disk indash CD player so I'm waiting for my new IPod/Bluetooth head unit, $80 adapter to go to the infinity external amp and figured I might was well replace the front in dash 3.5 inch speakers with some Boston Acoustics from crutchfield... I had good all around sound with the 12's and everything, but can't wait to have real power and be able to fine tune everything! COME ON WEDNESDAY!
UPDATE: the new boston Acoustics are AWESOME!!!! the new head unit is nice and a snap to install with everything I got from crutchfield. Everything but my subs sound good now, soooo now re-thinking the sub box. I think I need more air space... Look up the Boston Acoustics (S35) speakers on Crutchfield.com, they were super easy to install and made a huge differance! I want sound quality and until I can get the subs to hit the lows like I want, I'm gonna keep playin with things.

I have the mtx box, but took out the mtx speakers and put in JL audio 10w3's, running off a jl audio 500/1 monoblock amp...... sound is prettty **** good, although if I would have know about the posibility of getting a box that holds 12's I would have went that route. that fox box looks good, wonder how much of a pita it is to install the seat spacers to make room.

Once you get this box, could you post some pic's installed. also your thought about box quality and sound.

I have tried many different boxes and could not get anything to sound good under the back seat. so I took out driver side rear seat built a bigger box for one 13 inch sub. It is the best sounding yet, but I would like to get the back seat back in and have subs under the seats again with good sound quality.

The sub I am using is from Elemental Designs. 1,300 watts rms and also using there amp to power it.

I do have a JL 500 amp I would like to go back to JL's they are my fav subs. if this enclosure that you are getting is any good I may get one to.
