Studder with 4.2 beta

Loaded the 4.2 beta on my truck a while back. I put my truck in gear and held the brake and got on the gas to do a power brake and it started studdering repeatidly like I had a trans brake or something.. Any ideas?? Truck runs fine only does that when I try power braking..

I think its gotta be in the software if yours does it to.. I can stab the gas from a dead stop no spooling and it will take off and blow the tires up like it should. But if I hold the brake and try to power brake it then it will start that studder like I have a trans brake.. Its pouring smoke but it studders like a trans brake and won't spool and rev hard like you would think would happen if you held brake and mashed the gas.. Besides that just driving down the street and all it seems perfectly fine..

yeah, exactly! mine was fine when i took it to the diesel shoot out last weekend, but the other night it did it for the first time. do it happen every time you try to power brake or just now and then. when i felt it, i backed off and then tried again bet easier on the pedal and it seem to be ok. but if i try to power brake and push the throttle too much to fast it does it.

not that this helps but, I've never had that issue using 4.2. IMO, what might be happening is it's over fueling the truck and it's spitting and sputtering... ( like flooding )

4.2 is a heavy fueling program and dumps a ton of fuel right off the bat.

Hm well have no idea.. It seems like its in the software because it doesn't run bad or anything when it does it.. Its the same studder repeatidly back to back... And every time it studders it shoots smoke out..
