Before you think the old saying "some guys have all the luck", not me. This is truly a first for me. A good friend called today and said "hey you want to go to an auction?" I am thinking no, not really. I decided to go anyway and took along a few bucks just in case. Get to the auction and in the corner I see a set of tires, at first I didn't even go look at them, cause how many auctions are gonna have 17s or 18s? Finally I go look, yep 315-70-17 BFG KOs. I thought well, would you look at that. About an hour later I hear "We got a set of tires here, about 70% tread left, who will give me $10" Dang, a guy beat me to it, "$15" my hand shoots up, "$20" and not one more bid came in. I was like a kid in a candy shop. Now I have me a good set of winter shoes that won't look so bad with a 6" lift, and the price wasn't even all that bad.

 

Good deal. Could have had an Isuzu Diesel with a flatbed for $50 a few years ago at an auction. I was young and have regretted it since.

 

The price being half bad? It's going to cost more too mount and balance your new(too you) winter shoes than it cost to buy them. Good deal.
