What kind of fuel pressure do you have? What's your rail pressure?
Could be the edge backing down, but I'd lean more toward you're running out of fuel.
When does it happen? On the line, as you are building boost, or after you have taken off?
What are the safety limits set at for the back down?

It happens when i hold the brake and floor it. It starts to spool up then starts cutting out when i take my foot off the brake a split second later it takes off like a bat out of hell. This is with backdown disabled.
That is a fueling issue. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? Rail pressure gauge?
Sounds like you are either maxing out your low pressure and starving the CP3, or draining your rail.
