stacks with bedliner

can I run stacks with my plastic bedliner?will they melt it?and what if I want a spray in bedliner later, will that melt?
what sounds better,5" pipe like comes in the kits,or a6"x6" steel column with stacks mounted to it? would 6x6 be deeper? I would rather learn in advance from those of you that have already done the trial and error

thanks in advance

I have seen a number of trucks with spray in liner and stack(s). Looks like they just give an 1" or so clearance around the pipe coming through the bed.

I have stacks with a spray-in liner and have had no problem's yet. I also have the 6x6 tubing across the bed and then my 5" stacks with turn outs. It's pretty loud straight piped but it has a good deep sound.

Where do you find the kits? Website? Local big rig shops?

I welded up my 5" stacks to my 7" pipe across the bed hooked into exhaust pipe with flex, sounds amazing I drove with the radio off all day.
good chrome 5" turnouts only $85.00 each, flex and tube all about $200.00 total, sounds better than a kit.really sounds great though and looks cool with smoke pouring out.got that new truck feeling again.probobly the best $200.00 you can spend on your truck

I have a Bedrug beliner and I am running stacks with no problems. However I covered the x-over piping w/ header wrap just to be safe. If you are worried about it just do the same. There's a guy on eBay that sells 100' rolls all day long...
