Stacks

A few questions for the guys with stacks. How bad is the soot that comes out of the stacks at start up. I park in a white painted garage every night. And do you find the back end of the truck dirty from soot at all. I use my truck every day for work about 200 to 300 miles per day with my pay load in the bed. What are the pro's and con's of the stack set-up's you guys have if you dont mind. I really like the looks of doubles but the single stack I wouldnt loose as much bed space for my payload. Thanks.

It's bad. Especially after it rains...

The white garage will soon turn black. THe back half of my truck always looks like I put a huge pepper shaker over it and shook it. (unless I just washed it)

If I drove that much I would put a muffler on it. It depends on if its turnouts or miters. The miters are louder and it also depends on how far above the cab you place them.

Pros -
Keeps the smoke away from the lights drag racing.
Sounds good outside.
Stacks are cool

Cons -
Loud
Keeps the truck dirty
Loud
Makes my backglass rattle
Loud....

Im putting a muffler on so Hopefully that will take a little bit of the noise away.
