stacking x2 and smarty

when stacking the x2 and the smarty, is it better to have the smarty with no timing downloaded and the x2 regular or should the x2 have the stack version loaded and download the smarty with timing? I am going to stack these two and just wanted to do it the right way. thats all.

There are several x2, XZT, standard, race. Start with the smarty with timing and X2 pressure only and keep an eye on your gauges.

god luck

I run the smarty on sw#9 timing only and the x2 pressure stacker tune they play very well together and that is the setup I used to net my current best 1/4 mile e/t and is my favorite stack of any I have tried.

creed, i guess you haven't had any problems with too much pressure? just curious, I noticed you had stock injectors. whats the pressure limit supposed to be?

i run my junior on sw5 and the stacker tune with my x2 race on pl 2. it is definitely a night and day difference between running them seperately or together.

With this stack my pressure's were at around 25kpsi, with diablo non stacker rkl and x2 I saw 27k easily. Too me its not the pressure that kills them its the amount of trash at high psi getting pushed through them with small holes and no filtering elements dont help. Aftermarket injectors larger holes let more debris through more easily. Hydraulic hammer theory also imo is a big part of injector failure. Its been explained to me by a big injector manufacturer that in if you were to take an empty coke can and crush it all at once in one good squeze it will crumble up but more then likely not crack or develope leaks anywhere. But if you were to take a similar can and crunch it back and forth numerous times each time getting more and more aggresive eventualy that can will wear a hole in the side and develope a area of severe weakness or crack. Just my .02.

4.4 beta, we have the 4.2 also but havent got around to trying it yet bob said run the 4.4 so thats what we did and blew away everything else we tried. Bullydog program was a custom beta from buddy and was .7 slower then the 4.4, diablo non rkl was .3 slower. All were stacked with the x2 pressure only tune since all were big timing/duration tunes. Member Tritiont was running a custom bullydog tune that was hotter then the one we had with a mp-8 and ran 1 full second slower with it then when he swapped to the 4.2 beta so that tells me that with the 4.2 we would have been even faster then what we were.
