I have a 03' Dodge with Twins and much engine work done to it. I recently put a ZEX Nitrous kit on it. I started with a small shot going up to a 250 shot. The bigbest shot the kit has is a 300 shot. I want to try the 300 shot but im not sure if its a great idea. Im new to the whole Nitrous thing. Other then the Nitrous lowering my EGT's i really couldn't tell much difference in power. If anyone is familure with Nitrous maybe you could give me some advice. Thanks!

Nitrous will only burn the additional fuel you give the engine. That is why you do not notice any more power. Throw more fuel to it and give the nitrous something to burn, or cut back on the NOS. Where are you injecting the NOS at?

 

Some great diesel minds say add the nitrous until the motor quites then change the nozzle to one size smaller and you got it. Were are you injecting it at? What boost level? What are your mods?

 

Is the truck still smoking when you are using the nitrous?

I would suggest a 2 stage kit instead of one large hit of nitrous or a progressive kit they work well.
