srt hood question???
is it smart to get this particular hood installed from the dealer @ $1500!!! or is there a better option to get this look? ebay guy wants 575+shipping non-painted.....what are my options? gotta have it.... but at a reasonable price.

buy it elsewhere & have it painted by a good body shop.

i jsut need to find a yellow rumble bee that got totaled fro mthe back and have a good hood....or just get my neighbors when hes not looking

Me too! Most of the rumble bees just have stupid stick on look-a-like. I want an srt10 hood so bad! I might get it for myself as a Chrismas present

ramairhood.com has them for about 995 shipped to your door painted to factory specks. doh, just looked at it again and they went up since I got mine. $1199 now. painted with grill insert and shipped to your front door.

The guy on Ebay is a dealer. Henson Motors is a BIG Dodge dealer in Madisonville Tx.

Do what I did.
I just bought one from the local Dodge dealer for like $575 (they will price match).
Then I fished around the local body shops for a paint job. The local shop even installed it....For another $350.

So I ended up with about $1k total in the job.
