Can someone please post a picture on there SRT-10 hood from the underside? I am trying to decide which hood I want. The SRT hood or the Reflexxion standard Cowl hood. Thanks,

if nobody else chimes in I will go over to the farm and take a pic of my srt-10 hood in the morning. It is waiting to be painted and installed.
By the way the one I have is the mopar one. not an aftermarket one.

Exclamation Hot air vent against windsheild?

Does the hot air vent back out the back against the winshield? Is there a gap there you can see?

Sorry about that. I've been real buisy lately for a change. I seen Underwood was going to do it, so I didn't mess with it. Beside's, mine has the original insulation on it that I butchered up. I cut a hole in it for the scoop. I meant to have it stiched up at an upholtery shop, but never did. Now it look's like crap. I would recomend you guy's either get the SRT-10 insulation pad, or if you cut your's, at least get it trimmed with some kind of edging so it doesn't fall apart like mine.

yes exactly I happen to have the part # for the srt10 pad right in front of me. I will be ordering one when I get arround to painting and installing my hood. No there is no vent in the back of the hood the extra air would just blow down past the engine and out the bottom side of the engine bay. I would rather have this because the air will help to a small degree to cool off the block and turbo as it goes down and out. If it exited at the windshield I could see some problems with fogging up the windshield but who knows I am just a poor trucker!!
Oh by the way here is the number 53350891ac. It should be arround $65.00 Thats what I got quoted anyway.

Thumbs up Thanks to both of you

Thanks to both of you for all the info. I was wondering about that too if it vented on the windshield if that would cause problems. Since the flow is designed to go down under the truck. I am going to order mine tomorrow. I talked to a local body shop and they are going to paint and install it in return for my factory hood. I am OK with that trade. What was leading me toward the SRT-10 hood was the fact it was going to be cheaper. My father is a retired Chrysler. So I can get the hood for 25% off the retail of $660.00.

sweet mine is still sitting in the barn waiting for a rainy day to get painted. My painter is cheap so I don't push him, He is a friend of my dads has 20+ years in the paint booth with a few cars on the cover of hot rod and car craft a few years back. I know he is up to it he just need to find time........ don't we all!!
