SRT-10 Hood Install?
Hey guys. My wife bought me a SRT-10 hood for my bday. It's sitting in the garage right now and truck is at dealer getting warranty work done.
How easy are these hoods to align?
I've done body panels in the past and they were a pain.
Should I tackle it myself?
I can do most mechanic work but body parts just aren't my department.
Thanks,
Ryan.

I put mine on all by myself and it was ridiculously easy. It's nothing like trying to put the hood on my old Road Runner. Not nearly as easy to misalign...

i work at an autobody shop you can befor you take the bolts off for the hood scrib around them with something so you put them back in the original marks as long as you put it back in place you should be fine and i would recamend someone there with you on the other side so you dont damage anything trying to be a hero and putting it on by yourself not saying you cant do it but just be carefull if you do good luck!!
it should look great you gotta post some pics when you get it on.

my wife helped with mine. remove 4 bolts, some hardware and reinstall
don't tighten the bolts down all the way before you close it to see if it aligned correctly by looking at tghe gap on both sides.

It sucks when your mind starts to go! You young guys beware!!!
I may have misspoke in my original post. Thinking back now, my hood had already been on a truck before so all I had to do was line it up with the marks on the hood from the previous install. That made it very easy for me to do all by myself. Putting all the underhood crap back on was the hardest part for me because I did it after installing the hood. Here's a preview of what yours will look like. I love this thing.....

Thanks for the tips guys. Hood was super easy to install. Took a while because of work and other obligations but man i'm glad it's on now. Here are just a couple quick pics and one of my 2003 SVT Cobra (over 510RWHP).
Enjoy.
Enjoy.
