Spring Rate on D25 ?
Does anybody know what the spring rate is on Skyjacker D25 coil springs ? From what I'm hearing that the D25 have less spring pressure then stock. They give you a better ride but they start sagging in about 18 months on the 2003's.I'm thinking of getting some customs with 2" lift made with a little more spring pressure then stock.Stock are supposed to be around 460-480 lbs for spring rate. Thanks guys.

The D25 is a higher spring rate than stock. They ride like crud and yes, they do sag after a few months.
Go with a lighter spring rate and a better shock, you'll be happy with the results. I use Coil Spring Specialties. I've recommended their spring and a Bilstien to back it up to several 2nd gen guys, and they're really happy with the ride. The CSS springs are probably about $30-40 more than the D25.
I've run a +6" CSS coil for about 2 1/2 years now and they've settled maybe 1/2-3/4". They ride great. I run a 360lb rate, but to give you an idea a few of the performance fabricators I know run around a 400lb rate on the fronts.
