spool-up rpm difference...

I still cant decide between the HTT 64/65/13ss or 64/71/13ss. Anyone know what the RPM difference in these two lighting will be around with my truck. It will have an airdog, programmer, trans when this goes in just trying to plan ahead. Thanks

I'd think the difference between the two would be 1-200rpms in initial spoolup. Now the difference from one of these compared to your stocker there is gonna be a considerable difference in low end spoolup. A programmer will help alot but IMO won't spool it up fast enough to your liking. You may find yourself adding some pressure or stix sooner than you would like. Again JMHO.

I was told by the guys @ HTT that the difference was about 400 rpm between the 65, & 71 wheel. I went with the 65, & it still smokes more than I'd like off the bottom. But it spools very fast for it's size. I'd recomend the 65 with an auto, especially if it's got a stiff T/C, like mine.

personaly, i prefer the larger wheel...
the diferance in persure ratios more than makes up for it spooling a tad slower....

If you have 3.73 gears go with the 65 wheel. It also depends on which TC you have. A tight TC and you are not gonna like it.
