Is speedometer correction on a 2006 possible?

Is anyone running 315 70 17s on an 06 yet? Did they have any trouble setting the pinion factor? I might pick up my tires tonight, but I want to be sure I can set them up correctly.

Thanks,

Im runnin 315 70 17 on a 06. I think he told me that 285 70 17 was the biggest he could go on the computer. It is pretty close its only about 2-3 mph off at 75.

Find out the REVOLUTIONS PER MILE and they should be able to do it. If the dealership thinks its not possible they probably don't know what they are doing unless something has changed for 04 05 or 06.

Yeah, thats what I thought. I can't belive that they would eliminate rev/mile from the options. it really dosn't make any sense.

Thanks,

My dealer told me the same thing. I had to find the instructions on DTR and give them to them.

Just got back from the dealer. The tech and I went through EVERYTHING in the new computer (not DRB) and found that we could only change to specific sizes no rev/mile its a real bummer too because the biggest tire in there is the PW 285 70 17. So thats what I went with. I will have to put the GPS in the truck when I get the 315's this weekend to see what happens. I think it will be off about 3mph at 75 and will increase my warrenty by about 1800 miles LOL
