speedometer correction
speedometer correction
I have a question. When you put bigger tires on your truck the speedo is slow. How do you change it so that it reads correctly. On my old truck you had to change the gear in the t-case. On my old ford diesel there was a sensor in the axle and you had to recalibrate the sensor for the computer. How do you do it for a 02 dodge?
Re:speedometer correction
The dealer can reflash the PCM for up to 275's (if I remember right), any bigger and you have to go with an aftermarket correction device.
Check with Off Road specialty stores or websites for names and prices.
Superlift sticks in my head as one manufacturer.
I'm just going to use my GPS for correction when I get my 315's this weekend.
