Sound Deadening Material - Where To Get It?

Where do you find sound deadening material for under the truck, Deleted cat and may be a little too loud want to try to insulate it more.

By under you mean spray on underneath the truck? or inside under the carpet?

I used RAAM mat, worked great on the doors/floors to reduce the resounance from the 5" straight pipe....

I dont know of many spray on that work under the truck, unless you really cleaned it up to get it to stick...

I used RAAM mat, its just like Dynamat, but half the price...
I got 63sq ft and lined the inside of the doors(twice by doing the inner skin of the door where the door panel mounts to) and the rear floor/back of the cab, I need to pick up a little bit more to finish the front floor and maybe do the roof...
It works pretty well, cuts down on the road noise and resonance from the exhaust, not hard to do, just pull the back seat and the door panels, for the front, pull the same, seats/door panels, and pull back the carpet on the side youre working on....

A friend in the stereo industry said he likes "Peal n Seal". It can be found at Home Depot in the roofing section. Its alot cheaper than Dynamat but your truck will stink for about three days after install.

Try this stuff here-

No smell and very reasonably priced.

I did the whole truck with this. I torn out all the seats and carpet. Made a huge difference.

Negative ghost rider!

Ive had a few friends that tried that and went the cheap route and had it come off, slime up and ooze in the hotter tempuratures... And it does smell, I havent seen any peel-n-stick yet that didnt smell like tar/asphalt

Im all for doing things less expensive, but it isnt really that great of an option imo...

google "quiet car" it's a spray in liner like material. I'm going to have the whole interior removed and have it sprayed in while the seats are getting the leather put on. Still researching it myself, but so far it seems the best option. You get what you pay for.
