The 4.4 is a very hot tune in all levels, meaning level 1-5 is 150-170 HP. The power spread is completely different between levels. The 4.4 boost fools and the factory Smarty tune doesn't. The 4.4 has a more linear power spread, the factory tune is more in bottom end and less on the top.
These are just some of the differences. I'm sure there are more. Contact Bob Wagner for the tunes. They are actually beta testing the 4.4 without speed limiters now.
