smoother ride w/ stock height
smoother ride w/ stock height
I've seen a few lift kits mentioned over the last few months that are claimed to improve ride quality, but haven't seen much about doing the same at the stock ride height.
I'm basically getting pretty frustrated with the bone-jarring ride over freeway joints and city roads. Makes me miss my Nissan Titan. At some point, I may upgrade the beast to a Fabtech 4.5 lift, but I really can't afford new wheels & tires right now to make the lift look decent.
So with that said, is there any hope for a guy who wants to keep the stock height? Would Bilsteins (or another brand of shock) make enough difference? Would something else work better? Or, is it something I just have to learn to live with?
I don't tow over 5000lbs btw and I'm still currently running the stock 265 michelins.

One of the MAIN reasons I am going with Thuren is to improve ride quality. He can basically make your truck ride like an Escalade, at ANY height you choose. It's all in the suspension component quality. Either that or the Kelderman Air Ride 0-2" setup would be the way to go. I am in the process of doing my thuren and I can tell you, Don is top-notch all the way!
I noticed a softer ride when I went to Nitto Terras. But I am sure shocks will do a better job. But maybe I am just use to the ride of a 1 ton since that has been my daily driver for the last 10 years or so
