NO, not on the intake tube its the map sensor on the top of the motor on the drivers side behind the intake horn. I turned the tst and mp8 off and it will smoke without the boxes on but I think without sometype of boost fooler you will set overboost codes.

TexMex im not sure if its the same on second gens or not but if your BD box plugs into the map sensor, it should do some boost fooling (I think) and you could tap into wires c and d and maybe it will work.

Hello Guys,
I'm figuring I'm in the wrong spot to say HI or to introduce myself. BUT, Hi anyway. I'm new to your page, sound like I can get a lot of information from you. I'm glad! It sounds like your talking about something that make your truck smoke more..... Where can I get it ??

You go to a parts store get 2 t taps some wire and a switch. But fist fill out your sig so we know what mods you have. Some may try this with a stock truck but I am now sure that it will work without some type of boost fooler. All this mod does is trick the fooling box into thinking it has boost when infact there is none. When I flip the switch the boost reading on my tst goes from 0 psi to 42 psi. I hope this helps.

It may work with your edge attitude, only one way to find out! Tap into the two wires turn the key on, dont start, flip the smoke switch and look to see what the attitude monitor reads. It should jump from 0 to something way higher, i dont know what the attitude will read, but you will be able to tell if its working or not. Sweet truck by the way!!!

just remember guys, this is for quick burst use, driving around with the switch in the "smoke position" will throw a code, and also, do not leave the switch on while starting the motor, truck most likely will not be happy about that. seat o pants meter seemed to register a bit off the line, but the grin o meter was a definite

If you use a N/O spring switch then will not have to worry about accidently leaving on or bumping it when clean dash. Just a suggestion.
