Looking at giving the Smarty a Try, VS my Current Stack -
Hot" Juice & -EZ Wanted to Try Smarty out and See If I can Leave My Juice Hooked up, And Leave it on -0- Setting for Gauge Use only , And Run the Smarty and EZ Stacked, Wonder what the real world performance Gains would be with my current Sig. As Hot Juice is Rated @180-HP And Smarty Top Setting is 170-?

 

I loaded sw9 aftermarket turbo stock injectors and ran my Juice on 0. The biggest difference was the throttle response and top end power. With the Smarty and MP8 on 75% the power was just there all the time. It wasnt jerky going from WOT to say 1/2 throttle either. It was very touchy and I unloaded it when it started snowing here again.

When the drag strip opens up here again I wanted to try a run on the Smarty compared to the Hot Juice. I think from my butt dyno the Smarty will win, but it has not been calibrated for a while

 

How do you like the stack you have now? Power/ Mileage?

 

The EZ really woke mine up down low.

 

So if you take your foot off of the brake and hit the accelerator is there an improved spoolup/response time?

 

My truck is faster with the Hot Juice than the Smarty. With that being said, it was a year a go that I tried it and I don't know how that software compares to todays. One thing for sure, when the race tune comes out, the Smarty will for sure make it faster - just see the hp numbers in my sig. After I get the twins on, Smarty will be next. Not to have it loaded every day. The juice will remain my daily power adder and for towign. the Smarty will be specifically for play time.

 

That is how I use mine. I keep the Smarty for special occasions because I like to keep the adjustability of the Juice. I do think the Smarty would be faster at the track. I was at 3200rpm at the end of the quarter and I think I hit that well before the traps. I am patiently waiting for the race program but I still want the 3500rpm redline.
