Smarty Upgrade problem

Im trying do load a beta tune into my smarty, but I dont get the SmartyUSB program to come up. It says serial com port ready to use, and thats as far as I get. Is there somewhere that I need to go to run the SmartyUSB software?

did you download the 7zip? when you plug the smarty in, do not let the computer try and find drivers.

So from there I open 7zip and add the program that I want to run and it does the rest. Can I keep the program that is on the smarty now?

you have to download the usb update driver from mads, then download the 7zip, then unzip it, then transfer to the smarty.
