Smarty update and Vista

Is the Smarty updater software compatiable with Windows Vista?

I have a laptop and desktop, both vista, neither one works.
Have to retain my old xp laptop for Smarty.

I think that one of the members is using vista, Bob had to help him set it up. Maybe he will help us also??

you can you use vista but it takes some time to find the program your computer will let you use. I used the 7z442 that is 818 mb is the only one that worked on my new computer

I haven't tested the program nor the inf file with Vista, but I believe it should work. Probably will have to bypass some of the security screens due to the unsigned driver and do a force install.
If the Smarty program doesn't run just go into the properties and change the compatibility mode to XP.

I run mine on Vista, the only problems I remember having was the lack of decent instructions on what all was needed.

Im running Vista, havent had any problems. I just moved all the files from my XP computer to the new one.

Anyone getting it to work on Vista 64 bit? It is taking forever to install the driver and I couldn't do a force install. Vista went ahead and started installing a driver without asking me. Hope it works but it has been running a long time.
