I'd like to know about this too since I just upgraded mine a couple weeks ago. Do I need to upgrade again?

Maybe it has to do with that emissions testing stuff ???

It would be nice NOT to have to do the recall for the emissions testing and just have the communicability working for the test equipment.

If it's the same as it was for the S-03, the "improved compatibility" means that it works for trucks that might have previously had issues loading a Smarty. If there were any big changes they would have been listed.

You can take the update, but if you weren't previously having issues with the Smarty, you probably won't see any difference.

I asked bob if there were any updates for the 03 s06, he told me to try this and see how it runs. Im going to load it tonight and give it a shot. Hopefully its better than the old one.

I believe the update has to do with the lastest Chrysler update to fix the compatibility issue with emissions test equipment not being able to communicate with the ECM on some of the trucks.
