Well, if this is only about that smog equipment compatibility - then, I am going to bypass the download. NO smog tests here in New Mexico where I live.

Now if there were performance benefits, that would be a different story.

I've been running it for a few days now. I'm going back to the last program. My mileage seems to be down just a tad and the cooling fan has been kicking in more. I'll load the last version I was running and see what changes.

Improved Compatibility generally refers to Chrysler Updates.

Chris, I just checked and there is an update from 6/19 posted on Mads's site. Guess I'll load it up and see what happens.

i downloaded the TNT when they first came out with it on my 04 and didn't like it at all. i put the 4.2 back on my truck and haven't changed it since. like was said before "how can the 4.2 be better than the news refined programs?" i don't understand either but till i see a change i'm not taking 4.2 off again. it has been almost two years since i have changed any programming in my truck and it runs great with the 4.2....

You go to Mads web site, click on downloads and select your programmer.

OK, I loaded it up today. So far so good. I normally run SW5, all default except for option 4 on timing. It smokes less and the power feels good. I towed with it today and as long as I turned 2500 before I shifted the smoke was pretty light, less than before. I'll get some seat time without the trailer tomorrow.

I'm not seeing a 6/19 update. I've got the 418b update and it is a much cleaner tune. It's from 3/19/10.

Guess I needed to turn this thing off before I fell asleep at the keyboard. It was the 3/19 I loaded.

I realize that, what I am saying is that 5.11b from March 19th is still the current file.
