Which Smarty tune has LESS smoke?

Does 4.11 or REVO have less smoke, especially for towing my 5er? I'm kinda sick of the soot all down the side but still enjoy the extra power when towing. TIA

For me with the REVO I see very little smoke with the torque management set to 1 for power level 1 or 3. Bumping the TM to 2 I start seeing smoke.

The stock setting has the least smoke.

I wouldn't tow much weight with a stock trans and the Smarty anyway. You're better off towing with stock power and putting the pedal to the floor if need be.

I've got to agree use Revo and turn the TM down, on a lower setting it smokes like stock.

W/ REVO on #3 & TM on 2 it's pretty bad. Maybe I should try TM #1. Will it make that big of a difference? I have towed w/it on #5 for several thousand miles & no prob.'s yet. As soon as it craps out, I'll be getting a built tranny so I'm not TOO concerned w/ it.

My wife complained about the smell and soot in the bedroom on my 5er when I was using just a XZT. I now have a Smarty and the smoke is worst however no more smell and very little soot on the 5er since I added a exhaust turned down tip from Geno's. I turned the tip down and slightly forward so that the oncoming air will disperse the soot. Truck still smokes it just does not cover the 5er.

The 03' and 04' trucks don't smoke much at all. The 04.5' to 07' will cloud out the sun..... It's that darn 3rd injection event and the in cylinder EGR causing all the smoke.

I put the TM on #1 & the 1-2-1-2 shuttle shift is back. Guess I'll only use TM #1 for towing.

& the 2-3-2-3 shuttle is back as well. I guess TM #2 & up has kept it away since I bought my Smarty 'cause I haven't had the studdering shift since I've been using TM >#1. Clear as mud?

Well, I drove 5oo mi. & putting the TM on #1 didn't help & I think it was actually worse. It smoked about 80% of the time as opposed to only smoking on acc. or up a steep hill. Back to the drawing board, I guess.
