Smarty & TST Powermax Question

On my truck Beta 4.3 sw 8, x2 pressure, and TST on 4/2 feels way faster. I cant get traction through 4th gear. RP stays at 26,000 with a DIYed stock pump. Im sure my little stock injectors dont like pushing that much fuel through them tho. I had planned to sell my TST, and I may still with the TNT tune comming soon. But I was really supprised how much stronger the TST made my truck feel. That also might be because I have a 555 and your a 600. We dont get near as much from the smarty as you 600 guys do.

well since my truck is an 06.5 its risky business with the tst but I did run one for a short time. I did dyno mine with the tst/smarty stacked and I was pretty disapointed with the numbers and the dyno. I had the smarty on 8 and ran the box up to 5/2 I think. at the time it only made 490rwhp with stock injectors. I have made way more without the tst BUT if they ever get it figured out I will put one back on my truck. I think for 03-05 trucks the tst is one of the strongest boxes out there. I went from the juice to the tst on my 05 and it was a huge difference. the tst pulled 2x as hard on about level 4 than the juice did on 5

My smarty made my tst feel WEAK!!! Ill never get rid of this smarty.. Now I just need a lil more top end where the smarty falls off.. I would be so down on the 305/555 motors.. From what bob says the new stuff is just as good for us as the 325 guys.. I have not been let down yet against the 325 guys around here

the tst works good stacked with a smarty or something else. I agree the smarty is no joke thats why I run one but the tst is no joke either. if you would stack them together on an 04 it should perform pretty well

yea theres a difference,,,thats exactly what i use,,,,basically man the smarty helps with quicker spool where as the tst helps with the top end,,,my tst cr49 doesnt get up and go that great without the smarty,,,nor does the smarty work that well on the top end without the tst,,,,i run a bullet 66 turbo and on level 8,,,i cant get my turbo to spool over 40 psi,,,however,,,with the tst,,,i generally run it on twins 03,,,that tt03,,,it makes my truck full fuel at 12 pounds of boost and holds 60 pounds if not more,,,im not sure cause my guage stops at 60...take advantage of the two but know this,,,,both programs have options for added timing,,,DO NOT RUN YOUR SMARTY ON AN ODD NUMBER SETTING AND RUN TIMING ON YOUR POWERMAX,,,THIS WILL MESS UP YOUR TIMING,,, rail pressure makes a huge difference with the tst as doest the twins setup,,,try this,,,set your smarty on level 8,,,,set you hp and tq on your powermax both on 3,,,,run the rail pressure up to 4,(note rail pressure = fuel which in turn = high egts) and run the powermax on standard program,,,run it and see how you like it,,,,,then leave it all the same and run it on tt03,,,note,,,i didnt read your profile but these programs with a stock turbo only last about 3 seconds to 1200egts,,,let me know how that works
