well when you get it plug it in a see what program you have and go on the smarty website and see if you have the new program in it most likely it does since you bought it for a 07 they just come out with that program.

Might as well start with the latest version of the software if it's not already on it, i'd download it. Check smarty version on the unit when you first plug it in and compare to web version.

Rusty... you lost 2 mpg on Mod TM?

Hummmm.... Maybe I will go back to the "Normal" version. I did get my best MPG on a tank to date with the Moderate TM on #7 at 55-65 MPH on secondary roads. Driving real careful not to use much fuel. 20.08 mpg with a 6 speed.

must be nice. i only went one tank. when i had the reg program i kept it on #7 but since i did the mod trq i dropped it down to 5 until i can build my tranny. but its worse all over...i hand calculate everything but i use the overhead as a judge becuase its pretty consistanly with how much its off. well on the highway itll hang around 18 thats 65mpg crusise set on flat ground. when i get into a little traffic around town she drops to 17s on the overhead. i went 300 miles on 21 gals of fuel i think and thats an all time low. usually around 17...im going to give it one more tank then change it back. it doesnt even smoke more. but as i said earlier, the egts are alot lower and the turbo doesnt get as high and i have yet to bark it yet so thats a good thing

Brett.

That was when it was a little warmer. Also running the a boost fooler, which I am not sure I need. (gauges are being installed as I type along with clutch and e-locker) I will be better able to tell how my truck is running after I get it back.

My average tank is 18-19 MPG. With some tanks as low as 16-17 with some towing or plowing ... I live in the hills of NH so my highway has a lot of up's and downs'. I live on the top of a ridge so any time I go to town I have to climb back up.

Shorts trips kill me too.

I may try the less aggressive TM program ans see if I get a 1-2 MPG increase.
