Smarty and stock?
ok i know the smarty is the best out there but is it ok to run on a stock truck? i have a predator and havent seen any mileage gain. will the smarty help?
Yes, its ok to run on a stock truck. Of course guages are always good anytime you have a performance mod that may increase EGT's and boost. And, depending on what setting you run and how you drive will determine the fate of your clutch or tranny. Yes you should see a mileage increase as long as you dont cowboy it too much and pretty much drive conservitevely.

mine is stock (as engine and tranny are concerned) and i run on level 3. gained 1.5 MPG plus and love the power. keep your foot in control and you will probably see more than 1.5MPG gain.
I have a mostly stock truck. More power, not much in the way of better mileage.... First to give out is probably going to be the tranny. Seems level 3 in the auto, 5 in the manual keeps the slippage to a minimum....

how much does your alls trucks smoke on level 3 and whats the hp on that level? I have a predator but id like to try somethin different, you guys think it would be worth sellin the predator and buyin a smarty
A lot if you don't keep the RPMs up. If you don't want smoke go easy on the go pedal until the turbo spools up.
Level 3 is 60hp but from the testing it's a little more than that.

Level 3 on a stock truck is easy to control the smoke or not....it's up to the driver....60 hp, but feels like more....i drove 13k on my 06 with a pretty stock truck (no trans upgrades at least).....and no issues, loved the perf increase.
Plus you have the support from Bob and Marco....best in the business!
