I copied the following from page 9 of the SMARTY manual. Sorry, I don't have Hyersnap so it may look a bit odd. Anyway, all I was going to add was to check the version of software on your SMARTY. I got mine for Christmas and it had version 4.0 installed. I loaded up 4.11, which is available on MADS website. Maybe something to check.

Change CaTCHER programs.
Press the ‘1’ key in the above described menu. Smarty asks you to enter the CaTCHER software
number (0 to 9) that is to be loaded into the ECM:
Choose CaTCHER
Press a # key
Enter the single digit number (from 0 to 9) that corresponds with the software number to be
programmed into your ECM.
When you have entered the preferred CaTCHER software, Smarty asks if you want to adjust the speed
limiter of the truck. The speed limiter can be adjusted anywhere from 25 to 250 MPH in one MPH
steps.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Your tires might not be rated for increased speeds. Please check your tires rating!
1=Adj.Speed lim.
2=Program SW: 5
You can return back one step, in any moment with the ‘<’ key
If you do not want to adjust the speed limiter, to start the updating session, press ‘2’.
To adjust the speed limiter, press ‘1’, the following page will appear::
Speed lim:xxx
New lim:___
When you have choosen the speed limit, Smarty asks you to confirm the selection before he downloads
the new software into the ECM: (example software #9 has been entered):
Program SW: 9
Press ‘>’
Press the ‘<’ key to return back one step and enter a different software number.
Press the ‘>’ key to confirm your selection and to begin the updating session. You will see the
following screen:

Right. The S-06 is the "model" of SMARTY. I have the S-06 as well. You can change the internal software of the SMARTY by downloading it from the MADS website. It's one of the best things about the SMARTY - free updates! When you plug in SMARTY to your ECM it should display the version of software installed. Check it out and see which version you have. I think the September software included the speed "unlimiter".

You have a built tranny, smarty set on 9, and you where concerned about that HEMI at 110??? I would have figured that hemi wouldn't have been anywhere in site to be concerned about... I guess they run better than I thought...

I agree with the above, your pushing a lot of wieght on tires that aren't designed to handle it... Not telling you what to do, just keep it in mind...

I set it for 150, and then test drove it yesterday and got it up to 130 then the egt's got a little high for my liking. But good to know i can haul ***.

They're a true 35 based on 4 wheel parts sight. Actually I think they're 35.04 to be exact

The 35 inch toyos i have run in the past have always measured 34.55. If you put the smarty to 35 even it will be off.

it will be faster at the 35. I always set mine a lil bigger so i wont be doing that much over the speed limit.

Let her rip on 9. I did on 37's tonight for 2 runs down the road on stock trans and still going. lol

My bad, loading the TNT program yesterday the speed limiter menu is under the ECM programming, not the ABS settings. Sorry.

You really need to verify it with a gps and adjust it. My BFG KM2s said 34.8'' but I learned they were 3 mph off. It's actually 34.05'' or so....as close as I can get it. It may vary some from truck to truck, tire psi, weight, etc.

..

Like TexasCTD mentioned, really need to have a GPS to set it correctly. My truck indicated was around 2mph faster than actual with the stock tires (70mph indicated was 68mph actual). Adding the 285/70's put the speedo right on the money.
