I have an 06 Mega, I tried to put a BDDL on this truck and it does not recognize a reflash that the dealer installed onto my truck. TSB 18-003-06 for long crank and charging problem. I installed the BDDL once and then returned truck to stock, to find out that the BDDL took out the reflash. I had to go back to the dealer and pay 95.00 to have the reflash reinstalled into my truck. That was about 8 mouths ago and to this date the BDDL still with the latest version does not recognize that reflash. My question is this, if I order a Smarty will I have the same problem?

 

best to call bob on that one he will need the string of numbers, you may beable to pull them down with the bully dog. But let him tell you if it will work or not. if he says yes it will then it dont sure he wont have a problem with a refund. I am not putting words in his mouth I would call and ask him. Hope this helps

 

no i don't think so it supose to put the latest DC program in your truck when you update latest the program from mad electronic. Bob Wagner or Marco will correct me if I am wrong they will be the best person to ask.

 

smarty ALWAYS will return your truck to the latest updates available through chrysler.

smarty does not rewrite your software to your ecm.

If chrysler offers a software update smarty will update your ecm and there is no charge,
