That would most likely be because you are draining your fuel rail.

On level five you are able to keep enough pressure in the rail to atomize the fuel correctly and provide a decent burn.

On Level Seven your fuel rail pressure is too low to atomize the fuel.. thus the decrease in performance.

Edit for Spelling...

if you arent running other mods I dont see why you cant run it on odd numbers with timing. I wouldnt go any higher than 5 or so if you dont have thosands to put in your transmission. I run mine on 8 all the time and it smokes pretty decent if you want it to. theres guys on here that have stacked an ez with the smarty. if you think it has too much timing run it on the odd #s

I see you a heavy duty clutch. whats the hp rating that it will handle? you might look into a fuel system if you plan to run the smarty. it will make life on your cp3 easier. I know the smarty & tst together will roll out the smoke.

I run on level 5 because of the stock clutch. With the stock lift pump I can drain the rail on the highest setting. Definately need a Glacier or FASS pump.

Smarty works better on 03-04s than bullydog does, so I wouldn't be too surprised. level 5 smokes mainly when you get on it in the lower rpms and then clears to a haze.

I think that's backwards. If your stack together has too much timing, you want to run the Smartyon the even numbers (no added timing).

hey not to bother anyone but I have a smarty also and i have been runnin it on 5 and love it but was wondering if if could be stacked with a bd pmt and just keep the smarty on 60hp without timing and then can change the pmt on the fly. I just dont know if it is possible cuz no one really talks about it. Oh and this is my first entry here.

PMT?

I have Smarty stacked with Quadzilla. Quadzilla adds timing so I run the even numbers on Smarty and run Quad on 60hp with the adjustabilty to go to 100hp (140hp = no change from 100hp setting so i don't go any higher).
