When the RP gauge worked it never went past 25k, the highway #s were good and I hardly ever have it set past 50. Its known that the 04.5 up motors ran hgher rp #s even from idle. The 4.4 alone got me to 22k, but very rapidly.

Mine looks just like homewreckers and after I posted I got to thinkin you guys had the non 610 motors.

I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that the mp8 with a smarty beta was too much pressure on the 610s.

Sure the smarty can make pressure, if you set it to.. but with just the smarty you can't adjust on the fly like some of us want.. I don't want to have to run my truck around on "kill" all the time... Heck it is very rare that I need more than 50% throttle, but when the need occurs, you can't pull over swap programs and go at it again... this is where the MP-8 shines, roll the **** to your hearts content and when done go back to the regular program after your finished...

I am pretty sure this is why the subject was brought up... I found my truck responds best to smarty on 3, and then juiced up with the MP-8 for those needed moments.. I tried the other smarty programs and really didn't become impressed with the other levels, it seems like to much smoke and now as much throttle response...

The MP-8 really kicks down low (alot more then my EZ did) and I don't have anything against Quad but his box alters the timing a little bit and that would kind of put you all over the place with your smarty, I think you can have the timing taken out, but then you are just winding up with nothing more than something a hair less then what a MP-8 does...

how much does an mp8 increase pressure, say for the 06 in my sig, or is it just too small of a pump, if it goes down to 16000 psi when shifting

On they dyno my mp-8 only helped out 40hp but around 140tq. From looking at the graph comparing the run with and without the mp-8 there was no difference up till 1800rpms and then helped smooth out the over all tq and hp curve.

I agree with wap, the 4.4 and MP8 will create to much pressure. I had to replace two injectors because of this stack. It runs great but I think you can get more HP with REVOLUTION alone. I do like stacking the TST with Smarty!
The TST will give some adjustment.

Keep in mind this is more the case for the 04.5 up motors. They hold considerable more RP than the 03-04s at all times, even idle.

exactly, our 03-04s IMO were not at the top of Marco's list when the new tunes were developed. I'll put the beta 4.2 w/ psi box against any of todays TNT stuff on an 03-04 engine.......and I'll win........and I'll put my money where my mouth is at this point. As one can tell I'm getting a little bitter on all the problems I've encountered w/ these TNT/R, TNT, and Revo tunes. I have yet to find one that allows my transmission to function properly and I just don't get it Betas 4.4,4.3,4.2,4.10, and good ol' 4.11 all work flawlessly. Ok, I've beat it to death by now..........

I didn't think the MP-8 was ever available with timing added... You might want to call TS-performance and ask, but you should be good to go like you are...

x2 on the no timing.Go to there TS's site.It says the added pressure has similar effects as added timing, but it does not do timing, pressure and boost fooling only.
