"JUST DO IT" and have some fun. Can't wait to pick up my new fiver and see how it pulls compared to old Tow Hauler.

Ok, I have tried all different kinds of settings and I cant seem to get it to feel like it did when I had the "original" software. I wish I had never upgraded to the revo.

Well, let me back up a second...when the truck is not towing anything, it pulls hard, better than the original software. My problem is when towing, which is just about every day. It just does not have that strong "pull" like it had with the original software.

What am I doing wrong? What would be the settings in sw1 that would be exactly like the original software?....and I miss the smoke

You try TM4, I think that was origianl timing. Not sure about TQ depends on what version you have. There are at least 3 version of Revo.

Are you only talking SW1 or SW2 as well?

On any SW TM4, TQ2 is the original... except SW2, to replicate the original SW2 you need to use SW3, as the original SW2 was the same as SW3.

I haven't heard.. and I haven't had a chance to put it in my truck yet.

I have been email Marco about some other stuff and will ask him as soon as I have got a change to load it in my truck.

I've been on the fence about buying one of these, but to tell you the truth all of this info about the settings and what they do depending on what version you have is putting me off in a big way. I have read where people say "maybe Bob or Marco will chime in" I have yet to see them explain the bottom line.

The few small quirks are nothing worth not buying one over. It really is a simple to use tool that is amazing on the truck.

I have to agree, although I follow whats going on religiously, since going from the original version/Beta4 and now the 2nd to latest POD, I loaded SW2 and its defaults and I have not touched it once. Ok.. maybe I tried turning down POD to see how the truck can barely move but that was it. The kinks for the Jr. have been pretty much worked out. If one were to just load the defaults for SW1,2,3 you would be quite amazed. The added features are for those that like to tinker. If you don't want to tinker, leave it be and have fun with it. It really is a great product.

Yeh don't let some of our post turn you off. The so called kwirks are really nill. After you've run one once then your hooked. The flexibility multi setting give you lots to do if your bored.

Yeah, no kidding. I took mine off for two days for some warranty work and couldn't stand driving it without the smarty-jr.

I currently have a Quad standard 30-60-100 which has given me no trouble, I run 60 most the time but like the way 100 feels more responsive, and EGT's have been a non issue towing on 60. I don't run crazy and do quite a bt of towing from 5k to 20 k. What might I expect to see/feel between the Quad and the Jr.?
