My Smarty Jr. finally arrived and I installed it on level SW2 the towing level with 70 HP. It definitely has more power than stock but I think that I was expecting more. I am not disappointed, I just thought that I would be able to spin the tires on the dry. I am nervous about going to the 100 HP level for fear of my tranny not lasting. I have not seen any smoke at all, even under WOT.

Is everyone happy with their Jr? I am definitely interested in hearing from other 2003 owners.

 

i have the smarty sr. i run it on sw5 90 hp i haven't had any tranny problems yet knock on wood i can spin my 315's but i also have injectors maybe thats why but i think if you drive moderate you wont have to be worried i have been doin ok so far but good luck with it have fun.

 

When I had my Jr, there was a slight difference between sw2 and sw3. I know it is only 30 hp difference but that is enough to get those 315 to light up very easily. Unfortunately it was very addicting for me and my tranny did not like it one bit.
If you don't have the funds to upgrade your tranny, keep it on the lower setting. If you can afford the tranny upgrade, let her rip!
