smarty jr

I am looking at buying a smarty jr with pod, and reading about them it looks like you can reduce the stock power with the POD option for better MPG, can anyone tell me if this true with the JR

Thanks

Yes, you can reduce the power with PoD. But, don't expect great mileage increases. In my routine driving, I get the same mileage at70% power as I do at 100%. Doesn't seem to matter what the PoD setting is.

But, reducing the power takes some strain off drive train parts - like the trans. And in the winter it's easier to drive on snow and ice.

Same here. It seems like I control my MPG the best by adjusting the torque management to less aggressive.
