I'm not seeing hardly any smoke. If you put to the floor you can just barely see a little bit in the blind spot mirror on the towing mirrors. You have to really look though.

I'm running stock exhaust at the moment though.

My 01 with Mach 1.6s and Juice smoked a ton more.

 

Definately go with the sr you will not regret it! I love mine, it makes the truck run so much better (ON sw7). It still has a little timing rattle but I cant hear it over the stacks and the whine of the turbo.
