Good to hear

Here is the email I got from them

Level 2 is the best for towing.
Towing on level 1 can be done, the only possible drawback could be the timing.
It depends on the single truck, because each truck has little differences respect the others, but the engine could rattle in case of heavy towing.
The added timing is useful for fuel economy, but it could be too much for towing.
That is not dangerouse and you can understand it listening the engine. If the engine rattle the fuel consumption is not good. That's the only drawback.

Just looking to see what everyone else has been seeing.

OK GOOD.I DON'T WANT ANY RP.I JUST KEPT SEEING BOB SAY THAT IT DOESN'T RAISE BEYOND FACTORY SETTINGS.JUST WANTED CLARITY. THANKS

DOES SW 1 OFFER BETTER MPG BECAUSE OF FUEL BEING WASTED DUE TO THE HIGHER SETTINGS HAVING MORE POWER OR BECAUSE IT HAS BETTER TIMING TABLES?

from what I've read on other posts, the timing curve is altered in respect to: 1. the main (1+2) timing events to make it better for power, but it also revises the 3rd timing event, normally for emission compliance only, and brings it closer to the first two events to increase power. So the total power pulse doesn't use more fuel, it just burns it more efficiently

WHAT I'M ASKING IS-

IS SW 1 THE ABSOLUTE BEST SETTING FOR MPG? AND IF SO, WHY?
A) CAUSE IT HAS LESS FUEL
B) CAUSE OF REVISED TIMING TABLES
OR ARE THE HIGHER SETTINGS BETTER BECAUSE OF MORE TIMING,IF YOU ARE EASY ON THE PEDAL?

THAT'S NOT BAD.IF I PULL A GRADE LIKE THAT IN 3RD(AUTO)ON THE TOW SETTING(BDTD)I WON'T SEE OVER 1100 EITHER.WHAT ABOUT THE HIGH SETTINGS AND IN OD(WHEN THE GRADE ALLOWS IT)AS FAR AS EGT'S.ALSO WHAT ABOUT MPG?

i think for us manual guys the 40 horse setting will give the best economy because it seems to dump the least amount of pre boost fuel(less black smoke before the turbo comes on) and when driving for economy the turbo never really spools anyway.

As for towing mpg...this tank is just pulling 19k and 26k
I havent filled up yet....but i will today...the overhead is reading 9.8mpg, so that probably means 8mpg. haha

Ive ran two unloaded tanks on the economy setting so far. 17.6 mpg and 17.8mpg....usually with the same with stock programming and a rokktech drive i saw 16.5-17.

the 1100 was the highest i saw in any gear pulling, i never had enough speed to be tached out in 5th...pretty much stayed out of o.d

same thing I was going to ask... but so far the results are looking very good... heck even 8mpg is pretty **** good for all the weight.

no timing rattle past idle, just barely noticable warm idling...when i still had the rokktech advanced it was bad, but putting that back to 0 it sounds kind of like an old mack

i went and got another skidsteer and pulled another 100 miles today....about 13k, its doing great
