Yep. Even if you get a code it doesn't defuel. Smarty will remap the boost tables to the limit of the MAP and all your doing is making sure the WG doesn't open.

 

Well, I guess I'll have to try the wastegate off option on the Smarty again and see if it works. Hope so, because I hate watching those boost numbers go up, up, up, and then all the sudden back down when your still givin er fuel!

 

The insight is not going to rad boost correctly if you use the Smarty with the boost fooling software as it semi "fools" the ecu into thinking it is at a different boost level. the Insight reads off the data bus so it is spitting out "fooled" data.

Second, you need a real boost fooler.

 

Yeah, I may have to get one some day. I was used to the edge juice which did it's own boost fooling.
