Smarty or injectors?

I have a new SPS 6280 turbo and a Quad race box. What is the next step? Injectors or Smarty? If injectors what size? 50 or 90

Eventually I plan on doing both, but which one should I do first?

Thanks, Tom J.

Do the Smarty. It's cheaper.

injectors all the way i picked up a used set from a memeber here they were super mentals got a great deal. you can send as much fuel to the engine as you want but if your lines and injectors cant handle it . i personally have ran a smarty with my current set up and didnt really like it just my 2 cents

The thing about the injectors is that if you get a set of Don Ms the tip is made of a better grade metal, not just the factory tips honed. This would give me a little piece of mind about cracking the tip.

However, I am in the same boat you are. After I stud the head and take care of a couple of other odds and in, I want to get sticks or a smarty, and with all the cracked tips and injector failers, I think injectors will be my next fuel addition.

go with the smarty, stock injectors will easily hold the power you will be getting with the smarty/quad race stack (500ish hp). Depending on how big of an injector you go, you will need a cp3 upgrade!!! Anything bigger than DDP 50's or F1 40's will need a bigger cp3 too keep pressures up!!

IMO You will get more bang for your buck with a smarty vs injectors the stock injectors are really good for performance upto about 600 hp also will offer the best egts, fuel economy, the 06 stock injectors are really really good !!
Flux injectors are very good , but I would buy them when your injectors go bad or later should you decide you want more HP beyond your sig after adding the smarty first!
call Bob Wagner he can hook you up with a smarty and will take care of ya.

I have to say, you're the first person I've ever heard say that the stock injectors are "good". If they're so good why do sooooo many of them break and destroy peoples' engines???

New injectors-- $1600 and about 50-100 hp

Smarty-- $700 and 170 hp

The math says Smarty 1st.

I second that soulezoo !
By the way jrussell looks like your still running stock injectors as well but I did notice you have a smarty, this thread was regarding which mod should be purchased next ? I think soulezoo stated it perfectly nuff said !
Toms injectors arent broke yet, so bang for the buck survey says SMARTY.
