Smarty or Diablo For Low End?
Ive ran the Diablo with a dr. performance box stack and i love the low end resonse from the diablo and the top end from the dr. performance 2021, weve also tried the bullydog with several different box combos and its night and day difference diablo is way better on low end. Now my question is how does the Smarty fuel down low compared to diablo more or less? I know how close minded alot of smarty users can be im looking for open minded responses please. Anyone tried a PPE either how does its power come in low end or big end?

Ya a buddy of mine had one of the first ones that ts turned up from what they call like the stock mp-8 model a 30% to a 60% module and it would work some days and other days it wouldnt and clatter like a champ he sent it back several times on his bill and still doesnt work right to this day just sitting in a drawer not being used. I know if i bought one that that **** would be all the way to the right and then some i cant help it sometimes.

WOW, and I thought the BD was the stuff for low-end. That Diablo must be impressive as I can't hardly imagine more low-end response than I have now.

Diablo is killer. So many custom tunes.. I think I'm way over 600hp currently. Need to get some h20 injected to cool things off....
Hopefully I'll be flirting with 12's next time at the track...

I think you need to clarify "low end response".
My impression so far of the Smarty is that it is peppy donw low (compared to the EZ, and Quadzilla XZillaraider). But it is not a low end stump puller. Just look at some of the dyno charts that some guys have posted. The slope of the power curve has decreased, and it makes peak power several hundred RPM higher in the power band.
Hope that helps....

One reason I ordered the diablo is it seems to have TC killing, stump pulling, low end grunt. That is what I like, alot of power on the bottom and mid range, if I want hp or rpm I will hop on the bike.

Right now (today... I'm always changing things) I've got Diablo on Extreme and XZT is bypassed and my VA3.2 is on 70hp. It's crazy fast. Even with my "bigger" turbo that everyone says is laggy on the street, I see 7 or 8psi of boost as low as 1300rpms. And from there it's a blink of an eye to 50psi... literally..

Im talking about improving my 60' or 330' times the diablo is wicked on low end but doesnt mph like a triple dog does its wierd weve trapped at 101 with diablo and 103 with bd so its got alot more big end then the diablo but thats what my dr. performance box comes in is on the big end. I was just wanting opinions on the smarties low end and if its as impressive as the diablo i really like the timing only that smarty offers due to dr. perf doing only pressure. On the newer 06-07 trucks the custom diablo tunes are not available YET and according to johan wont be for awhile if at all and they dont offer a timing only tune like they do for the 03-05 trucks they just offer the stacker programs that do more timing and less pressure but still adding pressure where the regular tunes do more pressure and less timing from what im told correct me if im wrong.

Didn't pay attention that yours was an 07'... Sorry. They'll get some tunes, it's just going to take some time. They bend over backwards to help us guys out. I think Johan drives a Cummins, as I've emailed back and forth with him quite abit in the last year. Once the bugs are out of the 06-07's they'll work on custom stuff, I'm sure...
