Smarty cures rough start
Smarty cures rough start
I'm not complaining, I'm just curious why. My truck has always skipped a few beats starting in the mornings, and idled a little rough. But with the smarty loaded and timing on #4, it starts smooth every time, and runs awesome. If I turn the timing down to default, it will start rough again.
I can also fix my rough start with 2 stroke oil, so I'm thinking it's the rail pressure thing on the pump that is sticking. But why does the extra timing of the smarty fix it?
