I got a smarty and i want to update it to the revo software but a can get the down load to work. Maybe some that has done it can give me some detailed help on it.

 

Make sure you have downloaded all of the correct software from the mads site. If your using the old stuff it won't work. What do i know, my wife did mine. She is the computer nerd in my family. LOL. There is a good instruction thread on cummins forum.

 

on the mads site, download smarty usb, the smarty file you want( it will be in 7zip format) on the bottom of the downloads page you will see an icon for 7zip.
download that and install it.
right click the smarty file you have saved, when the window opens, select extract files here.....
open smarty usb, browse for the smarty.smt file you extracted, click send.... and wait 25 minutes.
