smart tnt does it raise rail pressure?
smart tnt does it raise rail pressure?
i was wondeirng if the tnt for the smarty pod will raise rail pressure? as in will it increase rail pressure at the injectors causing a failure down the road? thanks
Both the Revo and TNT can raise the rail pressure. The adjustment is done in the user options menu and the default setting is stock pressure.
Can't say what the long term effect is on the injectors while running the extra pressure with the Smarty. I'll assume setting 2 is still pretty safe for the stock injectors while setting 4 might have an effect.

right im wondering if just by loading the tnt and not messing with the settings if it will increase rail pressure. as in does the tnt program itself raise the pressures? does that make sense?
No, it doesnt raise peak rail PSI it wont go above the factory setting of 23.5k, but it does change the ramping of the PSI, and it raises cruise PSI. which isnt good. On my 06 it raised it about 1-3k cruise psi, which does nothing but hurt the injectors, IMO keep it on the factory setting, or at the most the next level up.
