Question Slicks???

Looking for info on putting slicks on my truck... I need to know what wheels guys are using to put 16 inch wheels on the back of 3rd gens? I know it will take a little grinding, but how much?

I know there are a few drag radials out there that are the correct diameter for what I want, but in my experience clutches like a bias ply tire better so I need to get a 16 inch wheel on the truck.

Well I want a tire in the 31-32" range. I didn't have a lot of gear left last time I raced the truck and now I have crazy larry and a mp8. I was trapping 98 consistently on extreme and no mp8.

My truck sucks out of the hole but I can usually chase other trucks down on the big end. I think it will trap 105 as is so a smaller tire won't work for me.

Anybody know what wheel will fit the best? I know everybody makes their wheels a little different and some may require more grinding than others.

I'm thinking a steel wheel may require the least amount of work to clear the caliper but I could be dead wrong???
